It is with heaviness in our hearts that we must temporarily close the Casco Bay Inn beginning Sunday, March 22, 2020 for an undetermined period of time. We feel that closing is the right thing to do for our guests, staff and families. The health, welfare and comfort of our guests and staff has always been our foremost priority and we want to make sure that we are here to serve our guests once the pandemic subsides.
Our staff has always been diligent in making sure that our rooms have been properly cleaned and disinfected to avoid the possible transmission of any illness. For those that have stayed with us, you know how high our cleanliness standards are. In light of the COVID-19 virus, we have taken things a step further. We have been disinfecting every surface in our rooms and public spaces after each stay to ensure the readiness for the next guest.
With that said, folks are not traveling now and we have no choice but to close in order to be here for you in the future. We will monitor our closing decision on a weekly basis and re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. We will keep everyone updated through social media and through our website at www.cascobayinn.com.
During our closure, we will be staffing our front desk from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day to answer phone calls and to take future reservations. If you call after hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as quickly as possible.
We look forward to getting beyond this time and having family, friends and other guests sharing their vacation time with us and enjoying good times once again. I am confident that we will see you soon and we will be ready for your visit.
